Which are the cities in Florida is score best for a real estate business?


PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – Feb. 9, 2017 – Many factors determine property value, but “location, location, location” continues to top the list. And if all real estate is local, it follows that certain U.S. locations are better opportunities for real estate sales agents.

To determine the best markets for Realtors, WalletHub analysts conducted a study and compared 150 of the largest U.S. cities across 14 key indicators of a healthy housing market, ranging from “sales per agent” to “annual median wage for real-estate agents” to “housing-market health index.”

Overall, Florida cities landed somewhere in the middle. Honolulu, Hawaii came in at No. 1 with a WalletHub index score of 60.57, with Seattle close behind. At the bottom of the list: Jackson, Mississippi with an index score of 26.78, with Shreveport, Louisiana slightly better at 28.82.

  2. Tampa: No. 32 nationwide; Index score of 46.53
  3. St. Petersburg: No. 35 nationwide; Index score of 45.97
  4. Orlando: No. 40 nationwide; Index score of 45.62
  5. Tallahassee: No. 72 nationwide; Index score of 43.01
  6. Pembroke Pines: No. 77 nationwide; Index score of 42.69
  7. Cape Coral: No. 97 nationwide; Index score of 40.72
  8. Miami: No. 92 nationwide; Index score of 39.43
  9. Hialeah: No. 111 nationwide; Index score of 38.98
  10. Jacksonville: No. 114 nationwide; Index score of 38.22
  11. Fort Lauderdale: No. 123 nationwide; Index score of 36.97
